It would seem as though Mad Catz – makers of the upcoming Street Fighter 4 FightStick: Tournament Edition – have underestimated the demand for the product from the UK market.
Alex Verrey of Mad Catz UK has informed us that:
“…Though we will try our utmost to fulfill any and all demand, we can not guarantee that every customer wishing to purchase this premium product will be able to purchase the FightStick: Tournament Edition on the first day of release. While we work hard to meet demand we ask that customers remain patient and keep checking retail for updated delivery information.”
For those of you who are dead set on acquiring a FightStick in time for the release of Street Fighter 4 you’ll be able to pre-order one from the Mad Catz online UK store at GameSharkStore.Net, beginning this afternoon (Wednesday Jan 14th). Orders will be fulfilled on a first come first serve basis, and are only available to mainland UK customers.
