If you’ve played the top arcade game of 2008, Castle Crashers, then you probably remember the old king in the beginning of the game that sat on his royal posterior while sending you out to kill hundreds of enemies and most likely taking a blade to the face in the process.
Well if you’re anything like us, you were mildly offended by the kings willingness to send us out to die. Now you can do something about it as of Wednesday. In the new Castle Crashers: King Pack, were not only getting the opportunity to take his majesty out for a joyride but for the first time were also getting to take a “open faced” Gray Knight as well as 3 new weapons.
First off is the NG Lollipop, players are also going to get a NG Gold Sword and the King’s Mace. Didn’t think that their was enough collectible animal orbs? Well Behemoth has you covered their as well with the addition of Pelter, the seal. Included in the pack is also some new magic of course. The new magic is only for the King but it could very well be the best magic in the game since it includes a way to heal yourself from all those nasty injuries and all of it can be yours for only 160 Microsoft Points. [Ed. Note: We're not sure what NG means, either. Maybe New Grounds?]
With the new additions to this great game it seems as though Behemoth is going to try and shoot for top arcade game of 2009 as well.
