Activision has already delivered over 70 downloadable tracks for Guitar Hero World Tour since the game’s October 2008 launch. Keeping up the pace, three brand new Track Packs spanning a variety of musical genres and multiple artists will be available throughout February 2009.
February 12-
Incubus, The Shins and Ryan Adams kill the amps and electric guitars for this Acoustic Track Pack. Incubus’ “Drive,” The Shins’ “New Slang” and Ryan Adams’ Grammy Award nominated version of “Wonderwall.”
February 19-
Paul McCartney will follow his debut appearance on the disc of World Tour with the Wings Track Pack. “Junior’s Farm,” “Hi Hi Hi” and “Jet,” three top-ten hits from the band’s catalog, will be available for download.
February 26-
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Academy Award nominee Bob Seger will make his DLC debut with the Bob Seger Track Pack. Seger’s legendary hit “Old Time Rock and Roll” joins “Her Strut” and a live recording of “Get Out of Denver” in this sure to be fan favorite pack.
Each Track Pack will be available at the specified date for $5.49, or gamers can purchase the individual songs for $1.99.
Looks like Rock Band needs to step it up a bit huh?
