What you see at right is the central hub of the upcoming EA Sports Complex within PlayStation Home. Today Electronic Arts announced their intentions to build a sports gaming themed area that will cater to fans of their numerous different EA Sports titles.
Inside of this arena of sorts, Home’s visitors will able to watch the newest EA Sports trailers, meet other gamers, launch directly into matches, and even play an assortment of EA branded minigames. Of the minigames that are featured in the trailer below, you can see what looks to be both Texas Hold’em and a cart racing game.
Most importantly for EA, this is a place where they can have complete control of the environment. It will interesting to see what comes from this venture going forward. Currently there is no announced release date, but as soon as we know, we will pass it along to you!
