Need For Speed (NFS) will forever be in the heart of every racing fan. Originally debuting in 1997, there have been many imitators, but few have come close to the heart pounding adrenaline rush provided by NFS.

NFS has had it’s share of gameplay changes over the years, and this time around isn’t any different. However, long time fans should feel more at home with this outing. Bringing back the good old days of cops and robbers style gameplay, NFS: Undercover should have you racing down speedways, dodging traffic, ditching cops, and chasing down rivals as you go deeper undercover to take down an international crime syndicate.
Sounds pretty damn cool doesn’t it? Take it from the words of Executive Producer Bill Harrison, “Need for Speed Undercover puts you at the center of a big-budget Hollywood movie with all of the drama, action and dazzling chase scenes, right on your gaming console…” Harrison continues with compliments to the all new Heroic Driving Engine, stating that it “… will give you ultimate control over the hottest cars and push you to use every ounce of skill to outrun the law and take down criminal adversaries.” The Heroic Driving Engine is designed to generate high performance moves at 180 miles per hour during highway battles.
NFS:Undercover will feature a more aggressive and intelligent A.I. mechanic. With cops whose sole purpose is to take you out as quickly as possible and by any means necessary. This aggression should help keep up the pace and urgency to get away from the cops and leave your rivals behind.
Fans will also appreciate the series’ signature car customization, real world damage and driving physics. And as always the hottest licensed cars out there will be available for NFS: Undercover. Licensed cars such as the Audi R8, BMW M6 and Lexus IS-F are just a handful of the rides that are to be included.
