And Now, The Rant

While we applaud the number of new DLC packs, we find the actual content quite disturbing. All of these packs basically consist of “MAKE YOUR WEAPONS STRONGER AND YOUR SUIT SUIT-IER!” items. In our opinion, DLC should be used to expand the game experience, for example new maps or songs. But with these packs selling extremely powerful objects, we can’t help but think that the challenge (and perhaps, the fun) of the game might be diminished.

It should also be noted that IF you were to collect all of this DLC, it would cost you $30.50 on either system.

Think of it like this: buying Crackdown only to download your way to Master Agent status. The fun of the game was to work your way to the top, and packs like this may just ruin the experience. Of course, I’m sure many of you out there just want to blow the f@&K out of aliens, so these packs will be right up your respective alleys.
