Every Sunday our editors get jacked up on caffeine (or Monday if not enough caffeine was available – eep!) and take you for a stroll down memory lane. Most people like to look back at precious annual commemorative dates, like anniversaries, birthdays, and the annual party commemorating that nasty rash you got at Joe’s BBQ party.
Instead, we’re here to prove to people over 50 that MTV has indeed ruined our attention span — we can’t wait to look back at the past WEEK. So, hurry up, here it is, the Weekly Rewind!
Xbox 360 & Sony PS3 Evil:
- Amazingly, we had zero exclusive PS3 content last week as our PS3 Editor was in a coma from the loss of his, err, 360 (it’s a long story) so let’s wrap up the the multiplatform goodness into one shell!
- Capcom shot us 2 new gameplay videos for Street Fighter IV, and they are drool-worthy.
- We summed up Microsoft’s announcements from the 2008 Tokyo Game Show.
- A curious “Inside The Game” trailer showed up in our inbox, featuring videogame has-been “Matt Hazard.”
- The 360 snags secures more exclusive content, in the form of Tomb Raider Underworld DLC
- Speaking of DLC, here’s what you can expect for the launch week of Guitar Hero: World Tour

Special Evil?
- In addition to our standard news and reviews, we’re slowly rolling out original content for you to enjoy. One of the shining examples is Pete’s Perspective, offering intelligent opinions and insights into this industry we love. And of course, the occasional scathing rants.
- What is Artificial Intelligence learning from the games we play? Our new staffer Joshua enters the fray with a controversial piece. Will Games Write OUR Future?
- And coming THIS week, a twice monthly feature called “The Shadowed Halo” which dives deep into the Halo Universe…
Thanks for sticking around. It’s going to be a fun week here, so stay tuned gang!
