Square Enix announced today that “Star Ocean: First Departure” will be released across all PAL territories on October 24th. Star Ocean First Departure is a title exclusive to the PSP, and will be a remake of the first Star Ocean title, marking the first time North American audiences can experience it themselves. The PSP version will include a real-time battle system, brand new fully voiced animated cut-scenes, and a new “private action system” that will unveil greater character depth and subplots.
