When the remake of the classic Prince of Persia made its way onto Xbox LIVE Arcade, reviewers were amazed. The fluid gameplay and intense action elevated the game far beyond what had been previously offered on the service. Well, it looks like the good folks over at Ubisoft have decided to share the wealth with those on the PlayStation Network.
According to the press release, the game will be released on October 23rd via the PSN and will be playable on all PlayStation 3 consoles. No word yet on whether this will also play nice with your PSP, but I would assume that it will be a console exclusive.
If you are wondering what you can expect from the new game, you can look forward to seeing the proven gameplay of the original Prince of Persia, with graphics that have made the jump to next generation consoles. If you don’t already own this on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, I cannot recommend this enough. Be sure to snag a copy of this when it hits the PlayStation Network later this week!
