Guitar Hero World Tour: Week 1 DLC lineup

Sure, the game will ship with 86 songs, and sure you can make more for yourself, but if you are a true music freak you are going to want every single note chart you can get your hands on. Here are the songs available for download the very first week you pop in World Tour.

Classic Rock Track Pack

“Rock And Roll Band” – Boston

“Hot Blooded” – Foreinger

“Jessie’s Girl” – Rick Springfield

It’s worth mentioning here that you will be able to download each of these songs separately. That means you can play “Jessie’s Girl” without paying for a song you already payed to play in another certain full band game.  This news is quite exciting, as it shows how Neversoft is stepping up their DLC policies over the slightly (very) irritating GH2 and 3.

R.E.M. Track Pack

“Horse to Water” – R.E.M.

“Man-Sized Wreath” – R.E.M.

“Supernatural Superserious”- R.E.M.

Take note that the R.E.M. Track Pack will be released exclusively on Xbox Live Marketplace for two weeks, starting October 30th. All these songs are from their newest album, “Accelerate.”

Guitar Duels

“Zakk Wylde Guitar Duel” – Zakk Wylde

“Ted Nugent Guitar Duel” – Ted Nugent

These will be the attractive price of FREE. We’re seriously thankful for including the Guitar Duels now, however it would have made more sense to include them in the Bonus Setlist. Since we feel the Guitar Duels are some of the most enjoyable charts to play in GH3, we can’t help but be excited.

In addition to these packs, the single “No Rain” by Blind Melon will be up for purchase. You add that to the already out-there Death Magnetic album, and that gives us a grand total of  19 (errr….76 ) new charts to play when the game launches in November. While you wait you can feast your eyes over a bunch of new screenshots (below), including images of the in-game music production tools as well as ‘rock gods’ Zakk Wylde and Ozzy Osbourne.  Excuse us, we need to go redeem a few codes.
