Konami news from Leipzig at the German Games Convention:

  • Silent Hill: Homecoming, the 6th installment in the series, will be delayed to November
  • The title, slated to be released on PS3 and XBox 360, will also come out for PC
  • The storyline is not a sequel, but a new story, set in the main character’s hometown of Shepherd’s Glen

Early buzz on this game is that it continues the creepy horror fest that is a signature of the series, and kicks up the grittiness and realistic feel. If you dig horror movies, horror games, or just amazing graphics, this may be one to check out when it is finally release. I, personally, really dig the whole scary game category, so I may give this a rent when it comes out.
